Golden Nugget, one of downtown Las Vegas’ hottest properties, just upped the ante with the unveiling of its newly relocated and redesigned poker room—the only one of its kind in the downtown area!
Located in the Rush Tower lobby, the new room features nine tables (with a capacity for 63 players), nearby proximity to ride share pickup, taxis and self-parking, food and beverage service and built-in USB-A and USB-C phone charging capabilities at each table position. In addition, the room features a $100,000 Bad Beat Jackpot, triggered with aces full of kings (or better) is beaten. Payout includes awards for the losing player, winning player, table participants, and others in the room.
“We are delighted to unveil Golden Nugget’s latest property enhancement to the poker community and our neighbors alike,” said senior vice president and assistant general manager Cindy O’Keefe, Sr., in a prepared statement. “Our new poker room blends comfort and convenience with the spirit of competition. We look forward to hosting many players and exciting events in downtown’s only poker room.”
The room’s official grand opening on July 28 will feature a ribbon cutting, local dignitaries, commemorative gift bags and an invitation-only poker tournament with the chance to win entry into the 2027 Grand Poker Series.
