This year’s America250 celebrations promise memorable events across the entire country, but of course, Las Vegas plans on beating them all.

The city will be celebrating America250 with four Saturdays of eight-minute rotating fireworks displays until July 25, all starting at 9 p.m. Obviously, the biggest single display will be July 4, with nine Strip rooftops firing off at once—Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian Resort, MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and The STRAT—synchronized to music on local radio stations KOMP 92.3 FM, 97.1 FM The Point and 98.9 Hank FM!

The rest of the month’s schedule is as follows:

• July 11—Fireworks launch from MGM Grand, Aria and Planet Hollywood (best viewing areas are the bridges and plazas around Park MGM, Aria and T-Mobile Arena).

• July 18—Fireworks launch from Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas and The STRAT (best viewing areas are the sidewalks between Resorts World Las Vegas and SAHARA Las Vegas).

• July 25—Fireworks launch from Caesars Palace, Treasure Island and The Venetian Resort (best viewing areas are pedestrian bridges and broad sidewalks near Flamingo, Caesars Palace, Bellagio and Paris Las Vegas).

• In addition, the Plaza in downtown Las Vegas hosts “Welcome to the Weekend” fireworks shows most Friday nights at 9:10 p.m. during the summer months.

If you’d rather watch the fireworks action from an indoor venue, consider the following (reservations are strongly recommended):

• For center-Strip and Caesars Palace-area display nights, head to Beer Park, Cheri Rooftop, Mon Ami Gabi or the Eiffel Tower Restaurant, all at Paris Las Vegas, or open-air restaurants or lounges, bars or restaurants at Harrah’s Las Vegas or The Linq Promenade.

• For south-Strip display nights, consider Peacock Alley at Waldorf Astoria and Cabo Wabo Cantina at Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.

• For north-Strip display nights, it’s hard to beat the spectacular views at Top of the World at The STRAT or Alle Lounge at 66 at Resorts World Las Vegas.
