Las Vegas native, Jennifer Zanni has been helping visitors feel beautiful for many years. She went from playing with makeup and styling her Barbie’s hair when she was little to pursuing an education in the beauty industry.
After graduating from cosmetology school, she went on to help open salons across the Strip, including properties like Treasure Island and The Venetian, where she helped launch the lauded Canyon Ranch Spa + Fitness. Zanni has also helped run a local medical spa, as well as salons inside New York-New York, Harrah’s and, most recently, Color Salon by Michael Boychuck at Caesars Palace. It was her relationship with the celebrity hair stylist that helped her land her current position as the salon and spa director at brand-new Michael Boychuck Salon at The Stirling Club.
“I love Michael, he’s great,” Zanni says. “He has my back. I have his back. We just work really well together, and we have a great relationship.” As the director, Zanni oversees the salon inside one of the city’s most exclusive addresses, Turnberry Place, a high-end condominium enclave where residents have access to the salon and spa. But, part of the “beauty” is that Vegas visitors can book an appointment and enjoy the benefits of the upscale experience, too.
“There is more of the feeling of exclusivity here,” Zanni says. “It’s more intimate.” And Zanni and her team are ready to make each client look and feel their best. “I just love making people feel beautiful and inspired,” she says. “Both men and women. To give them that confidence.” In addition to the full-service salon portion, Zanni oversees the spa and the barbershop, and is overseeing the completion of the medspa that will open soon.
“I really, really enjoy what I do,” she says. “I like the hospitality and beauty industry. Ten, 20 years from now, I will still be doing this. I just really love it.” –Kiko Miyasato
