Standing next to Deacon Randle can seem just a tad bit intimidating—he’s 6 feet, 4 inches tall and built like a brick house. But, as the fitness lead at Resorts World Las Vegas Fitness Center, he’s just the man you want training you (and forget the intimidation part; he’s one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet).
But it’s his skill set in fitness that you’ll want to take advantage of when you book a session with him at the state-of-the-art facility. “I get to help people here!” he says. “Every guest that I work with, I always try and teach them something new. Even if they have a trainer at home, they can take back a new discipline and add to their workout at home.”
Randle has been in fitness and worked as a trainer going on 15 years. “I love that feeling that I get when my guest benefits from a session with me,” he says.
He also uses his skills in a completely different arena, too. Randle is an actor, mainly in action comedies. Are you thinking he might be the next Rock? You wouldn’t be far off—he’s worked with him! “It’s a dream that is a career now,” he says. “You take a risk when you follow a dream, but it’s something that I would do all over again. It’s a lot of “no’s,” but it’s worthwhile when you get those roles.”
In Vegas, though, Randle’s leading role is at the Fitness Center, and it’s his job—”One that I love doing,” he says—to make you the shining star in your own movie.
