When it comes to throwing the best parties and curating nightlife in Las Vegas, there are but a few names that top the list—one of those names is Jeff Ermilio, director of nightlife at Golden Nugget.
“I’ve been doing this since 1999,” Ermilio says, referring to working in the nightlife industry. “I was the guy that everyone called to pack their clubs. My passion is throwing events and parties.”
Ermilio hustled and went from a street promoter to a top promoter with his own events company to earning titles like director of operations and general manager of nightlife at properties around the city. Now he has his sights set on making Golden Nugget “the best place to party in Las Vegas,” he says. “I will solidify Golden Nugget as a nightlife player.”
One of the venues he’s helping to transform is Troy Liquor Bar, where we met up with Ermilio for this interview. “With Troy’s huge patio, we’re like a skybox to Fremont Street Experience,” he says. He’s also gearing up for pool season and all the exciting parties he’ll be throwing during Night Swim at The Tank Pool. (Make sure to check the calendar when the season begins—Ermilio has some awesome parties in the works!)
When it comes to the nightlife industry and throwing parties, “it’s always been a passion,” he says. “If I had a million dollars, what would I do? I’d throw the best party ever—it’s what I love to do.”
