It might not be “T-shirt time” but it’s definitely clothing line time for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, who recently unveiled her brand new fall fashion line, SnookiLove by Nicole Polizzi, during February’s MAGIC Marketplace. With nearly 80 pieces, the entrepreneur has jumped from the MTV’s Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWOWW to the fashion runways.

Congratulations on the new line. Tell me a little about it.

I’ve been working on the line forever, it feels like. I wanted to work with someone good, who really knew what they were doing. So, I finally found Double Zero, and Jason, he’s the designer that I’m working with, knew exactly where I wanted to go. (Double Zero) sells to places like Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, and that’s exactly where I shop—so they kind of had an idea of where I was going.

How hands-on were you in the designing process?

With all the products that I do—with my tanning lotion, my perfume—I definitely like to be in the process 100 percent because I want to be involved. It’s my stuff, it has my name on it; I want it to be perfect for me, for my fans. So I’m 100 percent into it. And Jason is such a pleasure to work with, so it just makes everything easier.

Has your style changed at all over the years?

It’s definitely changed, especially ever since I became a mom. I just feel like I dress more chic and more, I wouldn’t say conservative, but … less slutty. (laughs) I wanted my pieces to be sexy but not over-the-top. And it’s definitely something I would wear. That’s like with all my products: I use my tanning lotion, I wear my perfume—why would I design clothing that I would never wear? So I had to like it.

What else do you have in the works?

Well, my book just came out—Baby Bump. It’s basically my transition from party girl to proud mama. It’s doing really good and it’s helping a lot of pregnant ladies (going through) first-time pregnancies. They can relate to the stuff I went through.

How is motherhood going?

It’s amazing. I can’t wait to have more kids. I’m planning my wedding right now, so we’re doing that, we’re gonna get married. But I want three more kids!

You finished taping season three of Snooki & JWOWW. Any hopes for a fourth?

We’re hoping. There’s nothing in the works yet. But, I mean, Jenni’s pregnant, I’m planning my wedding … so, I think they’ll want to tape it. They’ll eventually cave in!
