The sun shines, the misters cool and Las Vegas takes the party outdoors this summer. These nine patios cater to every mood imaginable, whether it’s a party vibe, a laid-back day of relaxation, cigars with cocktails, games or just a good dose of people watching.

Beer Park

Beer Park

1. Beer Park

Take an afternoon of drinking to the rooftop at Beer Park. This 10,000-square-foot beer hall features 36 beers on tap and another 64 in cans and bottles. Soak up the beer with dishes such as soft braided pretzels, chicken drumsticks and Shock Top bratwurst. Find a seat at communal picnic tables or head over to the lawn for games such as bean bag toss, darts and even pool. (Paris, 702.444.4500)

2. Cabo Wabo Cantina

Rock out like Sammy Hagar at his bar with a patio that sits on the Las Vegas Strip. Margaritas, naturally, are the drink of choice here. After all, the bar and restaurant takes its name from the Red Rocker’s brand of tequila. Pair the drink with spicy carnitas burritos, chipotle-rubbed chicken fajitas or Sammy’s tequila shrimp. (Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood Resort, 702.385.2226)

3. Rhumbar

Grab a rum cocktail and a cigar and take a seat on the patio at Rhumbar—the outdoor space feels like a Caribbean hideaway. Drink a Cuban classic such as a mojito, Trader Vic Bergeron’s mai tai or a creamy piña colada, and then puff on a cigar, Cuban style.

4. Davidoff of Geneva

Head out on the 50-seat patio of the new Davidoff of Geneva with its access to cocktails and stogies. This first-ever for the brand and seventh Davidoff location in Las Vegas features all the comforts expected, such as a humidor stocked with cigars, a bar with bottle service and HD televisions, all overlooking the Strip. (Fashion Show, 702.473.5001)

5. Beerhaus

Wile away an afternoon at the new Beerhaus with its local beers from Joseph James, Big Dog’s, Crafthaus and Hop Nuts, as well as craft beers. Pick up a classic board game such as Connect Four or try bar hall staples including foosball, shuffleboard, ping pong and cornhole. That warm pretzel comes with a beer cheese dip while that slow-roast pulled beef sandwich features a proprietary rub made of 15 different spices. All perfect for an afternoon in the sun. (The Park, 702.693.7275)

6. Umami Burger

Crazy good burgers, craft beer, sports betting and a patio? All those needs are satisfied at Umami Burger with its beer garden looking out on the Strip. Order the namesake burger topped with Parmesan, shiitake mushrooms, roasted tomato, caramelized onions and Umami house ketchup and pair it with one of the beers from breweries that take over the taps. For the month of July, Dogfish Head will take over five taps. (SLS Las Vegas, 702.761.7614)

7. Carnaval Court

This outdoor bar with its constant live music keeps the crowds dancing Mardi Gras style. Flair bartenders entertain while guests order drinks and the gambling action is never far away at the blackjack tables. This party spot is a lot of things, but boring is not one of them. (Harrah’s, 702.369.5000)

8. Press

Take in the outdoors the classy way at this lobby bar. Look out at the pool while sipping on Tiki drinks, eating flatbreads or trying the s’mores. The 76-seat patio even has a trellis system to give it a jungle look. Cooler nights ignite the fire pits for a little warmth. (Four Seasons, 702.632.5000)
