If you haven’t yet had enough of the cold temps, stop into Minus5 Ice Experience at either The Shoppes at Mandalay Place or The Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian and The Palazzo, where it’s always a winter wonderland. The lounge, made of ice, offers the Cinnaspresso, served in a signature ice glass with cinnamon whiskey, coffee liqueur, cream and a candy cane garnish.
Over at RA Sushi Bar & Restaurant at Fashion Show, try their holiday sweet treat, Clouds of Tokyo, a blend of Grey Goose Le Citron vodka, Nigori sake and fresh lemon juice, all poured over tufts of colorful cotton candy.
Take a seat near a fire pit or under a heat lamp and enjoy the twinkling lights and outdoor atmosphere at Press at Four Seasons Hotel while sipping on their holiday cocktail, the Spiced Orchid. The blend of Bulleit bourbon, apple juice, apple liqueur, cinnamon, honey and lemon has all the flavors of a wintry celebration.
Seasonal Fix
Two of The Palazzo’s über-cool hangs, Rosina and Electra, offer their own versions of holiday cheer with seasonal cocktail choices. Step inside the intimate Rosina lounge and order the Seasonal Fix, a merry blend of fresh pomegranate, lemon juice, simple syrup, fresh fruits and your choice of gin or vodka. At the newly opened Electra lounge, try the Low Blow, a mix of bourbon, pineapple liqueur, St. Elizabeth allspice dram, chocolate bitters and Angostura bitters. At The Dorsey at The Venetian, the slick and spacious lounge created its holiday cocktail, The Great Bambino, a blend of bourbon, Fernet Branca, fresh pears, lemon and orgeat. Also at The Venetian, stop into Yardbird Southern Table & Bar to feed your sweet tooth with the bourbon-spiked eggnog bread pudding with Chantilly cream.
More sweet treats and plenty of cocktail and beer specials await at the annual Holiday Experience at The Park, 4-8 p.m. Friday-Sunday. Guests can enjoy warm cocktails and live entertainment, as well as photo ops in front of the ginormous Christmas tree.
