Entering the space, located off The Palazzo’s casino floor, there are many focal points to grab your attention, especially the 40-foot digital wall display. With an astonishing 70 million pixels, the moveable art piece changes and excites throughout the evening, with scenes that incorporate tons of mesmerizing colors.

There’s also the futuristic-looking VIP booth tucked into one corner of the lounge. The towering stack of 10 “bracelets,” that each stretch 14 feet in diameter and sparkle and glow in colors like shiny brass and rose gold, create a semi-private space. Above the seats is a suspended concave mirror that reflects gold hues and faceted, backlit crystals. Another impressive design element is the 40-foot-long Carrara marble mosaic and absolute black granite bar that offers great viewing options of the entire lounge.

A great thing about Electra is that it offers tons of plush seating—sofas, club chairs, banquette-style seating—so it’s the perfect spot to spend the entire evening. The musical format keeps patrons in party mode as DJs spin throwback and current rock, hip-hop and indie.

Electra stirs up the evening as well with impressive cocktail offerings, served inside statement glassware and incorporating a lot of tropical flavors, with a focus on rums, rhum agricoles (cane juice rums) and mezcals.

Order the shared cocktail slushy that comes in an eye-catching giant puffer fish glass—you can fill it with the Penichillin cocktail, a mix of smoky scotch, fresh lemon, ginger and honey, or the Peach Daiquiri, a blend of white rum, Rum Fire, Fino sherry, fresh peach and lime. Try a cocktail staple with a twist with the Disgruntled Mai Tai that mixes two rums, Aperol, lime, blue curaçao, orgeat syrup and Underberg bitters. There are specialty shots, too: the Quick Charge with vodka, cold brew coffee and coconut; the Night Shift with rum, passionfruit, lime, honey and chili salt; and the Change Up, a frozen peach daiquiri shot with a Fernet-Branca float.
