There’s a new player in town for all those that love watching the hottest plays—in sports, that is. Tailgate Social is just what its name implies—a tailgate experience within a bar and lounge setting perfect for watching the upcoming NFL playoffs and NHL season.
With a welcoming design—dark woods, cool lighting fixtures, leather sofas, bar-top and high-top seating and various lounging nooks—every seat in the house is a perfect spot for game viewing from the more than 30 high-def TVs and an enveloping sound system. Extra fun is added by way of pool tables, foosball, video games and poker machines.
Grub here gets an upgrade from the typical bar food menu. Handcrafted burgers and sandwiches include a Maine lobster roll, mini vegan cheeseburgers and a Nashville hot fried chicken sandwich. There are even entrées like grilled fish tacos, house-smoked baby back ribs and a 16-ounce sliced New York steak. Pizzas, salads, apps, sides and desserts round out the menu.
Tailgate Social also exceeds expectations in its cocktail offerings. Domestic, hard-to-find beers, and beers on tap (like local favorite 7Five Training Day Golden Ale from Vegas Golden Knights player Ryan Reaves) fill out a robust list. Then there’s the specialty cocktail list—an impressive menu of handcrafted recipes that elevate the drinking experience. The Game Day margarita with Espolòn tequila, Cointreau, lime, agave and Grand Marnier float and the Gin + Juice with Bombay Sapphire gin, cucumber, mint and lime are familiar cocktails with a delicious spin. For something sweeter, try the Knight Cap, a martini-style treat mixed with Grey Goose Le Vanille vodka, espresso and chocolate bitters.
For some truly out-of-the-ordinary sips, try the Thirst & Goal, a mix of Martini & Rossi prosecco, Aperol, grapefruit and rose water, or the Raging Bull with Grey Goose vodka, ginger beer, lime and smoked cherry syrup. At the top of this list would be the impressive Red Card cocktail experience—a spicy house-blended michelada topped with a charred jalapeño and served with a grilled fish taco, chips and salsa.
For those that want to do some tailgating on Saturdays and Sundays, Tailgate Social offers 50-cent chicken wings and $5 domestic draft beers. Now that’s game on!
