Where do we go? What do we do? We’ve helped put some plans together for you while you’re in Las Vegas this week, so keep reading!

Love live music? Hit up The Shag Room at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas. The bohemian, artsy space is the perfect venue to kick back and listen to singers every Thursday through Saturday night, beginning at 8 p.m. On Wednesday nights, you can take the spotlight for open-mic night beginning at 8 p.m. If you like high tea, try Shag Room’s version, the Upside Down Tea Party, beginning at noon on Sundays and featuring boozy teas, light bites and live music.

Go from shag to chill when you take advantage of the new Fire and Ice Experience offered at Minus5 Icebar and 1923 Prohibition Bar at The Shoppes at Mandalay Place. For one price, the adjacent bars offer guests three specialty cocktails, one inside the bar made completely of ice (guests get jackets and gloves to wear), then one inside the hidden speakeasy and the last at the grab-and-go daiquiri bar outside Minus5. “Our Fire and Ice Experience allows guests to explore the best of both bars in one action-packed experience,” Noel Bowman, owner of both venues, said in a recent release.

For a real sweet spirits experience, book a patio table at Lago by Julian Serrano at Bellagio. Enjoy beautiful views of the famous fountains show while indulging in the Dessert Espresso Martini Flight. The four boozy desserts feature the Cheesecake Next Level with Grand Marnier, vanilla vodka and Kahlúa, the Chocolate Lover with White Godiva liqueur, vanilla vodka, Kahlúa and ice cream, the Affogato with vanilla vodka, Kahlúa, Frangelico and mini chocolate hazelnut mousse, and the Vanilla Sky with Licor 43, vanilla vodka, Kahlúa and ice cream.

Another beautiful patio experience awaits at Four Seasons Hotel at Press Lounge. The Press Play event happens every Thursday evening and guests can imbibe on tons of specially crafted cocktails that feature Japanese spirits like Roku gin, Haku vodka, Suntory Toki whiskey and Legent bourbon. The twinkling lights and lush foliage set the scene for comfy lounge areas and live music throughout the night.

For all ya hipsters out there, the classic Sand Dollar Lounge downtown at Plaza Hotel recently released a slew of new specialty cocktails crafted by the talented bartenders of the bar. The craft cocktail menu features more than two dozen unique combinations and interesting sips like the Purple Jesus, a mix of vodka, fresh lime juice and house-made purple Kool-Aid syrup and served with a Miller High Life, or try the Georgia On My Mind mixed with El Dorado Five Year rum, Cîroc peach vodka, Sambuca, peach nectar, coconut cream, simple syrup and fresh lemon juice.

Back to the music … don’t miss Faded Karaoke every Tuesday at The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails at The Cosmopolitan. This smash-hit weekly event is for guests that love the spotlight, as singers are backed by a live band. More live music fun happens April 14-15 inside the Strip’s newest speakeasy, Easy’s Cocktail Lounge at Aria. Famed Las Vegas singer Skye Dee Miles brings her flashy style and groovy voice to the stage inside the intimate, sexy space. If DJ talents are more your speed, don’t miss Custom Made Fridays, the hip-hop music night inside Hakkasan at MGM Grand, featuring DJ Sourmilk April 14. Get dazzled and join the wild circus at Marquee nightclub at The Cosmopolitan every Sunday for its Night Circus event, where the club is turned into a wickedly fun carnival scene and live DJs spin top hits. Also at The Cosmo, hit up the nightclub’s daytime counterpart, Marquee Dayclub, with DJ Sourmilk performing April 14 and DJ Pauly D rocking the crowds on April 15. And the party goes off at Omnia at Caesars Palace this week with Party Favor performing April 14 and the showstopping Steve Aoki behind the decks April 15.
