Party like it’s 1922 at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge at Resorts World every first Friday of the month. (This month, however, the party will be held on the last Friday of the month, May 26.)
Guests are treated to a throwback to the lavish party days of the Roaring ’20s, as the lounge celebrates the 98th anniversary of the acclaimed novel The Great Gatsby, and the return of the lounge’s popular monthly Return of the Gatz party.
Drawing inspiration from the book, the cocktail menu features several specialty cocktails like the Daisy Sour, made with Belvedere vodka, Lazzaroni amaretto, lemon and lime juices, rosemary syrup, lavender bitters and egg whites. Or try The Green Light, pictured, made with rum, green Chartreuse, Midori melon liqueur, tiki juices, coconut syrup and lime juice.
For more classic sips, try the Old Sport with Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal cognac, Cointreau Noir, Marie Brizard Apry, orgeat syrup, lemon juice, barrel spice bitters and eggs whites, or the Gatsby’s gin and tonic with Bombay Sapphire gin and your choice of Fever-Tree tonic in flavors like cucumber, elderflower or Mediterranean.
To really immerse everyone in the Return of the Gatz celebration, guests are encouraged to don favorite 1920s-themed outfits. Revelers can dance the night away to the sounds of DJ Sax Duo, a DJ and saxophonist who get bodies moving with the Roaring ’20s sounds in addition to top hits from more recent decades.
