Just on the other side of the freeway from the Las Vegas Strip sits AREA15—filled with a wonderland of nightlife adventures. What has quickly become a mecca for art and entertainment for the whole family has also tapped into the 21-and-over crowd, welcoming them to bop along from one nightlife experience to the next without having to take an Uber.

Besides AREA15’s rave-like vibes and visuals, the main building is packed with hot spots for fun and cocktails. Start off at Oddwood, where the mesmerizing, 23-foot-tall digital tree serves as the focal point for this bar that serves up impressive, handcrafted cocktails. Some of our faves include the Mexican candy margarita, watermelon mule and the lavender Old-Fashioned that’s topped with a bubble filled with lavender smoke. For a secret menu, look around Oddwood for stickers with leaves on them and scan the QR code.

Games galore mixed with craft beers and cocktails combine on the second level of AREA15 at Asylum Bar + Arcade. Gamers delight in classic pinball machines, video games, arcade games and midway games like shuffleboard and foosball, in addition to several pool tables. Play away while enjoying Asylum’s popular slushy cocktails, draft cocktails and unique craft and draft beer selections.

For some friendly group competition, drink and swing away at Five Iron Golf, an indoor experience featuring industry-leading golf simulators; or test your arm strength at Dueling Axes, an ax-throwing bar that is safe and surprisingly addictive once you get used to throwing that ax towards the bull’s-eye! Dueling Axes offers a great ladies night every Wednesday with 30% off ax throwing and half-off martinis and wines. Throwback Thursdays is soundtracked by ’80s and ’90s tunes with PBR beer bucket specials.

Take a jaunt just outside of AREA15’s main building and take a ride on Liftoff, an aerial experience that takes riders 130 feet high, offers 360-degree views and allows you to take your cocktail with you to the top (when you order it before the ride at the Liftoff Lounge). Every Friday and Saturday night, enjoy Liftoff’s Block Party with drink specials, food trucks, outdoor games and live DJs. Diagonal to Liftoff is the Illuminarium building and experience. The 360-degree immersive experience whisks visitors away to faraway lands, and come nighttime, Illuminarium After Dark offers an immersive nightlife escape with a full bar, specialty cocktails and ever-changing backdrops that envelop partiers inside the night markets of Tokyo, crystal caverns and gardens in France.

Trip out inside Omega Mart, AREA15’s largest tenant and its most experiential. The mock supermarket features interactive art from more than 250 artists, but did you know that it also features a hidden bar called Datamosh? Immerse yourself in the adventures inside Omega Mart but be sure to find Datamosh and enjoy one of the unique cocktails that are not only delicious but little art experiences, too. (The bar is open till midnight).

This week, fans of EDM music and the rave scene won’t want to miss AREA15’s Happy Camper Massive beginning at 9 p.m. on July 29. The party takes place throughout the main building, and 21-and-over “campers” can relive their childhood days with old-school games, trippy arts and crafts stations and immersive summer camp décor. Dance the night away to a lineup that includes Channel Tres, Drama, Juliet Mendoza, Marieme and Neek Lopez.
