Lounging looks and feels so good at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge. Clique Hospitality, a major player in the Vegas nightlife industry, knocked it out of the park with this venue, located on the casino floor of Resorts World Las Vegas.

Let’s talk décor! A mix of modern and Roaring ’20s design is evident in the velvet-covered furnishings and gold fixtures, along with mood lighting created by a canopy of color-changing circular lamps. It’s elegant and ethereal. Table service and bar seating invite guests to hang all night, and when the DJs take the decks, the open areas quickly turn into a dancefloor.

“With the glam and free-spiritedness of the 1920s mixed with the modernity of today, Gatsby’s is truly an escape from the world where we encourage guests to dive into the bubbles and the dancefloor,” says Scott Diel, Clique Hospitality marketing director. “The opulence of The Great Gatsby inspires the elegant space, and guests can keep their glasses full and the good times flowing at a 360-degree bar featuring a curated collection of vintage and rare champagnes, visually stunning cocktails, and aromatic bubblies.”

Diel ain’t lying—Gatsby’s offers some of the most visually exciting cocktails, and they are darn tasty to boot. We’d like to recommend, nay insist, that guests seek out the “secret menu” and order the following (for both taste and the best social media posts): Start with the day-one mainstay, Champagne Bubble Bath. Served in a mini tub with floating rubber duckies, the mix of Tanqueray, Aperol, lime juice, pineapple, Monin strawberry and rose syrup, and rose cava is topped with champagne, mojito-flavored foaming bubbles and edible rose petals. “The fan favorite is definitely the Get Out and Dance, made with Grey Goose Essences white peach & rosemary, St-Germain, lime, lemon juice, strawberry purée, simple syrup, and watermelon Red Bull,” Diel says. And the Sweet Dreams is a playful dessert in cocktail form. Inspired by the classic Brandy Alexander, the cocktail is served inside a waffle cone that has been dipped in dark chocolate, stout, Himalayan salt, orange essence and raw sugar, and is a blend of Rémy Martin 1738, Baileys Strawberries & Cream, Tempus Fugit crème de cacao and marshmallow syrup. I mean, hellooo?!

Liquid decadence continues with Gatsby’s specialty cocktails, a mix of Prohibition-inspired sips with modern flavor flair like Daisy’s Sour with Belvedere, Lazzaroni amaretto, lemon and lime juices, rosemary syrup, lavender bitters and egg whites, and the Gatz Old Fashioned, this version of the classic made with Russell’s Reserve 6 year rye, Clyde May’s Alabama whiskey, spiced demerara and cherry bark bitters.

Don’t sleep on the champagne selection either. “Gatsby’s selection of champagnes is exquisite, and there are some great selections at all different price points,” Diel says.

From over-the-top cocktails to singular champagne sips and from music to mood, Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge serves all the feel-good you can handle.
