If you are looking for a lounge that has it all, stop at Montecristo Cigar Bar. This cool space has plenty of luxurious seating plus large screens for sports viewing (and large windows to check out people passing by in Le Boulevard). It’s also got a great ventilation system, so breathe easy.
In the humidor, you’ll find boxes of beautifully displayed cigars on custom Spanish cedar shelving, from the namesake Montecristo to H. Upmann. There are lots of other brands, however, such as Padrón, Arturo Fuente, My Father and Romeo Y Julieta. Pair any of these with a cocktail like the classic Blood & Sand (pictured), with Dewar’s Blended Scotch whiskey, Casa Martelletti sweet vermouth, Heering cherry liqueur and orange juice. Le Melon Rouge is a light, bright glass of Stoli Raspberry vodka, mint and Red Bull Red. The lounge has several cocktails that feature high-end spirits, like the Rob Roy, with The Dalmore 18-year whiskey, Angostura bitters and Casa Martelletti vermouth di Torino Classico. (Find it on The Connoisseur’s List.)
Other beverages include red, whites, rosés and the sparkling wines, as well as domestic and imported beer, and coffee. The French-pressed Lavazza coffee is prepared tableside, with a cookie. Snacks, such as the meat and cheese plate, will give you something to nibble on before or after enjoying your cigar.
