In Las Vegas, there’s always something going on. So, we’ve narrowed down some new happenings to check out during your visit and added in some awesome happy hours to enjoy in between. Cheers!
Head downtown to the Mob Museum, not for educational purposes but to enjoy the new live music events held throughout April at the museum’s outdoor event plaza. Catch live bands playing swing, jazz and contemporary from 3-6 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This Thursday is a special event, Sip & Smoke: Cigar Night, at the event plaza from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy Latin jazz, handcrafted cocktails and specialty cigars. Every event at the event plaza is free.

Think you got what it takes to ride the bull?! Head over to Gilley’s at Treasure Island at 9:30 p.m. on April 20 for the bikini bull riding competition for a chance to win a $400 cash prize. (Bikinis are required and no bra or underwear allowed.)
New to the nightlife scene is Chéri After Dark at the beautiful Chéri Rooftop restaurant, situated right under the iconic Eiffel Tower with views of the Strip, Bellagio fountains and more at Paris Las Vegas. On Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 10 p.m., the restaurant transforms into an elegant, upscale nightlife experience complete with live DJs, specialty cocktails, dance floor, VIP tables and dedicated cocktail servers. The ambience and décor of Chéri is reminiscent of lush Parisian gardens with a romantic vibe from all the twinkling lights and views of the stars from the rooftop location.
Juliet Cocktail Room at The Venetian has new Sunday night programming beginning at 9 p.m. Cocktails & Chords is an evening of live music from some of the city’s hospitality workers. It’s a chance for servers, bartenders, hosts, etc., to take the stage and show off their talents. The night gets even better when you pair it with Juliet’s amazing cocktail program—some of the most inventive, visually stunning cocktails you’ll find on the Strip. Over at Rosina Cocktail Lounge, join some of the industry’s top mixologists at 8 p.m. on April 24 as they battle it out to claim top prize in the Mixology Competition. You’ll watch as each contestant is given seven minutes to create their best drink with two secret ingredients, a spirit and a fruit. A panel of judges will help decide the winner, and you get to cheer on the bartenders and try their creations.
Looking for an intimate, upscale bar, somewhere you can take your date and turn up the romance with delicious, handcrafted cocktails and a dark and sexy ambience? Look no further than the new 23rd-floor gem, Hard Shake, at Waldorf Astoria. The name comes from the three-point shaking technique used by many Japanese bartenders. The bar will offer a menu inspired by the hard shake method, with each cocktail meticulously handcrafted with unique ingredients and top-shelf spirits and mixers. Light bites will also be offered, with dishes that are visually beautiful as well as uniquely delicious. All this fabulousness is completed with a cherry on top that is the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the neon lights of the Las Vegas Strip.
Awesome Happy Hours!
