Going out for a night of revelry in Downtown Las Vegas should be on everyone’s to-do list, but there are so many unique bars and lounges nestled into the tightly packed district that visiting just one bar couldn’t possibly be enough. This part of town calls for a bar crawl, and luckily for you we’ve made three routes to help you hit all kinds of swanky spots.
The Fremont Street Experience continues to be one of the most recognizable and iconic attractions in Vegas, so it’s only fitting to create a path that ends right there. Start at Atomic Liquors, Las Vegas’ oldest freestanding bar with an incredibly storied history for some incredibly creative mixed bevs. Try the Cuclear Reactor, made with tequila, cucumber syrup, lime and elderflower for a sweet and refreshing sip, or enjoy one of the local beers on tap. Then head to whiskey bar Oak & Ivy inside Downtown Container Park to taste deliciously crafted cocktails featuring barrel-aged spirits. Wine aficionados should check out Bin 702, also in Container Park. Now that you’ve probably got a decent buzz going, it’s time to wander down to the Fremont East area, where bars like Lucky Day, Commonwealth, Corduroy, Discopussy and We All Scream await. These are the bars you come to to party hard, so hop around the easily walkable block and imbibe in each unique environment. Finish this trip right on the Fremont Street Experience at Neonopolis, where you’ll find Cat’s Meow, a karaoke bar.

If slightly more chill vibes sound like your speed, consider crawling down Commerce Street, where you’ll find an eclectic array of hole-in-the-wall hidden gems. Begin your night on the town at SerVehZah Bottle Shop and Tap Room, where you’ll find local and craft beers in addition to handcrafted cocktails. For something striking to post on your socials, order the Violet Vibes, a bright purple mixture of gin, creme de violet, hibiscus and lemon. Sail on down to Stray Pirate for a tiki bar experience like none other. This menu has cocktail strength indicators, so you can decide to take it easy or go totally all out. Next, seek out Liquid Diet and taste some of the strangest concoctions a mixologist could cook up. If you’re feeling bold, order the horseradish shot, which comes with a tomato chaser. To end this night you’ll need to make a reservation at Seven:45, an R&B speakeasy that only admits 40 people at a time.

Just one block over from Commerce Street sits Main Street, one of the most bumping boulevards in the area. You can start your tipple tour here or continue on from the Commerce Street route. Kick off at Nevada Brew Works for some hilariously named and totally tasty drinks like the #Free Britney before heading to ReBAR, a locals’ favorite bar with a fantastic patio. Then pop across the street to Velveteen Rabbit for inventive cocktails like the Cigars & Cigarettes, made with fennel and clove-infused bourbon, Elixir d’Anvers, ginger, Peychaud’s bitters and a spritz of Laphroaig Scotch. End this romp at the funky and fun JammyLand Cocktail Bar & Reggae Kitchen. The menu features drinks made from artisan ingredients with flavors you certainly can’t find elsewhere. Order A Tale of Two Pears for a smoky, sweet mix of pear-infused mezcal, fresh lime, prickly pear syrup, pink peppercorn and creole bitters. What a fantastic finisher! Happy crawling!
