It’s sweata’ weatha,’ and here in Las Vegas that means new fall-flavored cocktails are on menus across the city. Brown spirits, warm and toasty flavors and sugar and spice and everything nice are the inspiration behind recipes that scream the fall season. So let’s get into some of our faves.
• One of the true speakeasies in the city, The Laundry Room inside downtown’s Commonwealth, just released a new menu, and while it’s filled with reimagined classics and unique sips, it’s a great destination for cocktails that are giving fall season flavors. Try the Maple Masala Mama, a scotch-based delight with maple, curry and cream, or order the Banana Bisque Cream, with reposado tequila, banana, allspice, cream and cinnamon powder.
• At The Cabinet of Curiosities at Horseshoe Las Vegas, create your own fall cocktails by booking one of the popular mixology classes offered. Classes on Nov. 28-30 include Crisp Fall Creations: Unlocking Autumn Flavors, where you’ll get to learn how to make Salted Caramel Apple and Fluttering Pumpkin cocktails. All tools, spirits, mixers and more are included in the class, run by the bar’s top mixologists.
• Two of the city’s longtime top mixologists, Evan Hosaka and Daniel Yang, recently opened a cocktail haven downtown, White Whale, and it’s quickly become a hot spot for top cocktail creations. And with the new season upon us, fall flavors pop up on the new menu. Highlights include the White Whale Espresso, made with fresh brewed espresso, coffee liqueur, cacao liqueur and vodka, and the Black Friday, made with bourbon, vanilla extract, egg white and lemon.

• Fall just screams brown spirits and cigars, and no place does this better than Eight Lounge at Resorts World Las Vegas, which recently unveiled new fall cocktails. Some of the new treats include The Life’s A Rye-It, spiced with Russell’s Reserve 6-year rye, Grand Marnier, tamarind, chili, demerara and lemon, and the Winter Stardust with Angel’s Envy bourbon, coffee liqueur, crème de cacao and bitters with chocolate shavings. Ask one of the cigar ambassadors to pair each cocktail with a hearty, tasty stogie from the lounge’s sizeable humidor. Also on property, Carversteak released its new fall cocktails, including the unique sip You’ve Met Your Matcha, with vanilla-infused American Harvest vodka, Pico crème de cacao, Frangelico liqueur, yuzu juice, pistachio orgeat and matcha.
• Take a trip off the Strip and head to one of the city’s most beloved destinations, Las Vegas Distillery. Inside the warehouse is a cozy lounge where top mixologists are whipping up some fall creations that include the Gourd Intentions, made with Las Vegas Distillery vodka and coffee liqueur, pumpkin spice foam and graham cracker crust, and Keep the Change, with Las Vegas Distillery New Make bourbon, sweet vermouth, Angostura bitters and cherry bark vanilla bitters. You can pair any cocktail with the made-in-house grilled cheese and tomato bisque for just $14.
• At Cabo Wabo Cantina at Planet Hollywood, a trio of fall cocktails will warm your tummy and get you feeling fine. Order the warm apple cider, made with gala apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, caramel, Captain Morgan spiced rum and Fireball, the Fireside with Stoli vanilla vodka, Illegal mezcal, coffee liqueur and chocolate bitters with toasted marshmallow, and the winter margarita with Cantera Negra blanco tequila, fresh lime, house-made spiced pear syrup and cranberry.
• Plan a stop into The Venetian Resort to visit two hot spots with fall-inspired treats. Liam’s Den & Bubble Bar has introduced a new autumn cocktail, the Chai Me A River, made with brandy, Cointreau, fresh lemon and a chai-spiced sugar rim. And over at Flight Club, play some innovative dart games while ordering the new Glenfiddich flight, paired with a charcuterie board. The whiskey flight includes Glenfiddich 14-, 18- and 24-year selections.
