October in Las Vegas is a busy month when it comes to 21-and-over fun, and we’ve rounded up some of our top choices. Check it all out:
Horse Soldier Bourbon and its founders will host a ticketed party at Casbar Lounge at SAHARA Las Vegas, Oct. 23 at 6:30 p.m. Learn all about the brand crafted by veterans of the U.S. Special Forces. The lounge also offers $7 glasses of prosecco daily; and nearby lounge The Tangier offers $7 whiskey sours daily.
Check out the new party spot The Starlight Plaza at The Mob Museum. The outdoor venue combines cocktails with live jazz and swing music from 6-9 p.m. Thurs.-Sun., and it’s free to get in.

The wildly popular AREA15 has tons of October events, but don’t miss the new spooky cocktails available through Halloween at Oddwood Bar. Sip on the IV Drip, a macabre take on a tiki punch, the Poisoned Dram, a twist on the whiskey sour, the La Lorita, a riff on the margarita, and the Rotten to the Core with apple vodka and pear purée. Over at the John Wick Experience, add on to your ticket price The Manager’s Toast—A Louis XIII Tasting Experience for $175. It includes a .5-ounce pour during what they’re calling a luxury tasting ritual inside the private office of The Manager (a character in the Experience).
Another immersive experience, Haunted Hotel, opened at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas at The Venetian Resort, and through Halloween guests of the attraction can check into the hotel and enjoy frights along with themed cocktails like the Death by Doctor and the Uninvited Guest. Also at The Venetian Resort, Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer offers the limited-time Trick or Treat Shake Flight. Add any spirit to the three mini shakes, the Kit Kat Shake, Skittles Shake and the Sweet & Salty. And before leaving the property, stop into Liam’s Den & Bubble Bar and imbibe on three exclusive pink cocktails in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Twenty percent of every cocktail sold—Ribbon Rose, Lady in Pink and Strawberry Strength—will be donated to Las Vegas Breast Cancer Warriors nonprofit.
More Breast Cancer Awareness Month is celebrated at El Segundo Sol and Happy Camper, at FSLV—Fashion Show Las Vegas. El Segundo Sol offers the Pink Paradise cocktail, Lychee Lush shot and Guava Getaway mocktail; and Happy Camper has the Raspberry Riot cocktail, Lychee Love shot and Berry Melon Cooler mocktail, with a portion of the sales going to Las Vegas Breast Cancer Warriors.

For those still in a spooky mood, check out the newly opened bar downtown, Dark Sister. The mystical, magical dark lounge offers Zodiac-inspired cocktails and herbalist-style recipes along with special events throughout the month like the upcoming witch hat decorating party on Oct. 23. Also downtown, the long-running speakeasy The Laundry Room inside Commonwealth recently updated its cocktail menu. Celebrated for having some of the best cocktails in the city, the speakeasy’s must-try reimagined menu focuses on vintage flavors, robust and boozy recipes and creamy indulgences.
For a real drinking deal, head to Treasure Island and enjoy $5 happy hour on select beers from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. at Breeze Bar, Golden Circle Sports Bar and Gilley’s.
At Resorts World Las Vegas, start at Bar Zazu for its House of Spirits: A Haunted Cocktail Soiree through Nov. 1, with specialty cocktails, roaming entertainment and interactive spirits from 5-10 p.m. nightly. Alle Lounge on 66 introduced its Private Sunset Wine Tasting. Catch beautiful views while enjoying three curated pours paired with light bites from 5:30-7:30 p.m., starting at $50. And at Gatsby’s Cocktail Lounge, join the R&B-style soiree and afterparty on Oct. 24 following the Maxwell concert.
Wine loves rejoice and head to RPM Italian at The Forum Shops at Caesars. The restaurant recently debuted its exclusive collection of three expertly blended, single-vineyard wines: the 52W cabernet sauvignon, Cèpe d’Été chardonnay and Three Kings pinot noir.
