At The Barbershop Cuts & Cocktails, where a janitor’s closet opens into a hot speakeasy, check out Back to the ’80s Night on Aug. 13, where DJs will get you in the retro mood before The Neon Knights rock out with hair metal and more. On Aug. 16, National Rum Day, try a special Redheaded Mai Tai while listening to live music. The themed nights continue with Dad Rock Night on Aug. 20, showcasing ’90s hits and Emo Night on Aug. 27, where Ziggy Zeno and Kamikaze Sons entertain. Plus, on Emo Night, you can get appropriate makeup and hair from Taladvani starting at 9 p.m.
At Clique Bar & Lounge, catch 2Deep on Aug. 14 and the UFC 330 championship fight on Aug. 15, while weekly events include Monday Night Fever disco nights and acoustic live performances on Tuesdays. Plus, preseason football games are shown, with college games starting on Aug. 29. Clique is known for its sweet cocktail collection, so try a few while you’re watching.
