If you know, you know about Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den. The intimate speakeasy located behind the Fuhu Shack stall inside Famous Foods Street Eats has garnered a reputation for unique and bespoke cocktails, dope decor and themed activations that immerse guests in other locales.
The speakeasy ups the game again with its new tropical takeover through Aug. 30. Once you gain access inside the venue (you walk through one wall of the stall that moves!), you’re enveloped in lush island-inspired decor. Visuals include beachy accents, cascading tropical florals, woven textures, rattan lanterns and vibrant colors. On Friday nights, DJs take over the venue for High Fidelity Fridays, where they take it back to the old-school and spin all vinyl.
Along with the tropical setting, new fruit-forward cocktails with island-inspired ingredients have been added to the menu—think all those yummy piña coladas, margaritas, daiquiris and more, all with Here Kitty Kitty Vice Den’s unique twists to the classic recipes.
At the speakeasy, encounter some of the best bartenders on the Strip—these peeps know their cocktails. Bartenders love when guests order the Bartender’s Choice, a popular pick on the menu. This is where guest and bartender get to create a unique cocktail together based on the guest’s taste, likes, dislikes, even hobbies and interests.
You get to name your cocktail, too; and if the recipe and name are tasty and clever enough, it might make it on to the permanent menu. (Your cocktail might even make it into The Book—ask the bartender about it!)
