In order for one to glow, one must highlight. This trend, a far cry from the very matte skin of the 1990s and early 2000s, encourages highlighting (also called strobing), in all the right places. You can achieve your version of this trend by using skin-care products, primers, creams, powders or even sprays. For very glowy products, such as cream or powder highlighters, use only where you’d like to accentuate your glow, such as the tops of the cheekbones, the cupid’s bow of the lips or the inner corner of the eyes. Be judicious—too much of these products may leave you looking oily instead of fresh. Finish your look with a shimmer body lotion or a bit of cream highlight on your collarbones. Now you’ve properly got your glow on!
