Teenagers who grew up listening to emo bands like All Time Low are just getting old enough to lead a nostalgia boom for the genre that peaked in the early ’00s. The emotionally raw music influenced by pop-punk was perfect for angsty youths dealing with crushes and first-time heartbreak, and now it’s perfect for reflecting back on those intense young feelings. All Time Low had major radio hits during emo’s heyday, and has been consistently active since releasing their first EP in 2003, with hit singles including “Dear Maria, Count Me In,” “Weightless” and “I Feel Like Dancin’.” The band is known for wearing its heart on its sleeve, and even if its fans have matured a bit, the catchy melodies and soul-baring lyrics are timeless.
