You can take your pick of party pools at multiple MGM Resorts International properties that offer luxurious and impressive cabana experiences.
Set at the end of a winding pathway and surrounded by lush tropical foliage is the 14,000-square-foot Bare Pool at The Mirage. Indulge in European-style sunbathing as you lay on your cushioned lounge chair inside one of eight cabanas, or book a VIP daybed on a private, elevated section of the pool club with its own glass-walled dipping pool. Cool down with a specialty cocktail like the Refresher, a blend of Deep Eddy Orange vodka, muddled cucumber, cranberry juice and sweet and sour mix.
At Wet Republic at MGM Grand, the pool club not only books the best EDM DJs in the biz, it offers the ultimate in cabana accommodations—the bungalows, which have their own dipping pools and faux-grass entryway with oversized lounge chairs. The bungalows are located on the elevated section of the pool club, so the views are great for people watching and catching the DJs perform. Guests also get their own dedicated restrooms and private security; and inside the bungalow there are king-sized daybeds, flat-screen TVs, cooling misters and teak wood furniture.
If cabana size is important to you but you want a more intimate experience, head to Liquid Pool Lounge at Aria. Eight spacious cabanas share several dipping pools and a deck that overlooks the main pool area. There’s also a menu full of specialty cocktails like the Island Getaway and Cucumber Essence, or try a specialty mojito like the Fresa Cubano with Bacardi dragon berry rum, lime sour, fresh mint and soda.
If you want to splurge even more, book one of the cabanas inside the Pavilion at Moorea Beach Club at Mandalay Bay. The Pavilion is tucked away from the main area of the topless pool club, affording its guests additional privacy. There’s a pool and lounge area that the Pavilion cabanas share, and inside each open-air cabana are daybeds and lounge chairs.
Also at Mandalay Bay is another pool club that parties a little harder than Moorea: Daylight Beach Club, which hosts musical guests from hip-hop to EDM. When not in the water, guests can relax in the bohemian-style cabanas on the perimeter of the pool. Luxury meets practicality inside these oversized cabanas.
