As an artist, imagine performing a musical concert at such iconic places as the Great Pyramids of Egypt, the Taj Mahal in India and beneath the world’s tallest skyscraper, Dubai’s Burj Khalifa. Well, Yanni, the renowned composer, performer and musician, doesn’t have to dream it, because he actually has done it. Now he is going to share both music and stories in his concert at The Smith Center, Pure Yanni: Piano & Intimate Conversation, which will also include an audience Q&A with the iconic musician.

Yanni has sold 25 million albums worldwide including 40 platinum and gold albums. More than 2 billion people throughout the world have enjoyed his music through broadcasts, concerts and recordings. This Pure Yanni tour is a more intimate experience than some of his other concerts and will also include an audience Q&A with the iconic musician.

Yanni will be performing many of his orchestrations on piano and will talk about everything from staging mega shows such as those mentioned above plus The Royal Albert Hall in London and Lebanon's ancient city of Byblos. Audiences will have a special insight into the new age musician when he shares many stories from his global career and also by his revealing some of his creative thought process when he composes his music.
