A year ago, downtown’s Plaza launched its Plaza Reimagined project, transforming the Main Street façade and porte-cochere into a must-visit destination. And this week, Plaza celebrates that game-changing move with a series of events and parties that you will definitely want to be part of.
The fun begins at Carousel Bar on June 7, when you’ll get the opportunity to experience a live recording of the On the Corner of Main Street podcast from 3-5 p.m. Fans will be thrilled to know that the episode will feature the surprise appearance of some previous episode guests.
Then at 9:15 p.m. that night, Plaza’s Welcome to the Weekend Summer Friday Fireworks will light up the sky, and the weekend concludes on June 8, where Carousel Bar will host a party from 8 p.m.-midnight, including a live DJ, caricature artist, drink and food specials, mingling with showgirls, and giveaways including a three-night stay at Plaza and dinner at Oscar’s Steakhouse.
Best of all, if you book a stay at Plaza during the one-year anniversary, you can also get two-for-one drinks at Carousel Bar, two pizza slices from Pop Up Pizza and buy one-get-one drinks at Sand Dollar Downtown.
The Reimagination project included the opening of Carousel Bar, Pinkbox Doughnuts, the rooftop patio at Oscar’s Steakhouse and Brian Christopher Slots.
